Why use Worm Tea:

plants.

on the soil or the plants.

it.
Worm tea is a liquid
that you can spray on your plant or pour it on the root zone.
Using wormtea is the easiest way to re-apply all the beneficial
biology on the surface of your plants as well as your soil and
your potted plants.
Using worm tea on your
plants and soil will help you prevent pests and disease. You
should apply your worm tea in the morning or late afternoon for
best results.
You can use worm tea on
your compost pile this will speed up the break down of organic
matter in your compost pile. You can also spray the worm tea on
your compost pile as you turn it for best results. Spraying
worm tea on your worm beds will aid in the break down of
organic mater then your red worm’s can finish the
job.
Tips for applications:
1. Spray the entire
surface of you plants.
2. Pour worm tea on the
soil around the plants.
3. Use worm tea before
10:00 am and after 5:00 pm during the hot summer
months.
4. It is best to wait 12
to 24 hours if you use tap water so the chlorine will have time
to evaporate. Chlorinated water will kill all the microbes in
the worm tea or compost tea. (Use distilled water if
possible.)
5. If a frost is in the
forecast spray the plants before the freeze, this will help
them to withstand the cold better.
6. Worm tea will not
burn your plants like chemical fertilizers
can.
